In his life, Beethoven was known widely as one of the best musical producers. With talent in piano, and lots of other instruments, Beethoven is undoubtedly a pioneer of Western music. Beethoven started losing his hearing at 28, and by 45 he was completely deaf.
Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison is an American inventor, famous for his invention of light bulbs. He also worked on other inventions, such as phonographs. He lost his hearing at 12, speculated due to scarlet fever.
Helen Keller
Helen Keller, renowned for her accomplishments, was born deaf, blind and mute. Writing & publishing 12 different books, travelling to 35 countries and raising millions for the blind, her effects on disability coverage are still seen today.
