Place a sticker on your hearing device so you know which side it goes on.

Remember to turn off your hearing device when you sleep to save battery

If you have ITE (In The Ear) or ITC (In The Canal) hearing aids, remember to clean your ears.

Trouble-shooting

Cochlear Implants

Check all the components and parts of your cochlear implants, and make sure the implant is completely cleaned and the batteries are charged. If this doesn't work, alert the hearing centre you go to and try to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

Hearing Aids

Firstly, make your all your components are cleaned and the batteries are charged. After that, clean out the tubing and make sure there's no moisture in it via an air puffer. Also, make sure the earmold is completely in your ear.
